Bathrooms and kitchens are usually the first areas in a home to be remodeled. Whether they are still shrouded in eras past (green shag rug in the bathroom is a definite no-no), or could just use a more personal touch, they're hot spots for updating. We've seen sleek glass refrigerators and colorful back splashes in kitchens, and gorgeous tiling and mirrored bathtubs that take the phrase, "Calgon, take me away" to a new level. But the bathroom pod that we came across recently takes the cake in terms of establishing a modern aesthetic.
The bathroom, located in an apartment in Belgium, is described as "a technically advanced architectural object." Dethier Architecture, the creators behind this modern loo, were inspired by an airstream trailer's aerodynamic design. The pod serves as a divider in the contemporary apartment and is definitely a conversation starter.
What do you think of this modern bathroom?
